I was looking at specialty car rental companies and I don’t get how they can profit from renting expensive cars for so cheap. For instance, a new Corvette is about 50 grand and you can rent one for $200/day. That means they’d have to rent this car 250 times just to break even. And most people don’t want to rent a 3-5 year old Vette, but it seems like it would take that long to break even.

i think the car rental companies dont have only a single option just to rent a car.but if they do,then they can also earn a profit out of that.they can not only rent their cars for a day but sometimes also for a lump sum period .thus recovering a margin of cost out of that.also the bigger is the business,the lesser is the cost that u bear to rent
