I want cold air intake on my 88 corvette?

Visit a performance shop as you will need a complete kit. Since a Corvette has limited space under the hood for modifications, it is best to use a complete kit so it fits right. How hard it is depends on your experience and the amount of stuff the kit has in it. All this does is grab air from a source away from the motor and rad’s heat. Cold air is more dense so when it enters the motor, there is more air available to aid the burn. Hence, more bang as the computer adjusts the fuel accordingly.
