Should I get the Corvette emblem tattoo?

I’ve been thinking about it for years. Where should I get it? I’m going to be working in business, so I’ll want to look professional in business suits; so not on my ankle or anywhere you will see it with clothes on. Should I get the C5 emblem or the C6 emblem?

hey i say go with it theres too many ppl around here who care too much about what other ppl think. i’d say get it and even if gm cancels the vette the memory of the vette will never fade!!!! i love all things chevy.

The Chevy Corvette is a sports car that has been designed by General Motors. The history of Chevy Corvette suggests that this racing car has been admired by thousands of people worldwide. This sports car was introduced in 1953 as a show car to compete with European companies like Jaguar and MG. The response was great and the production began in Flint, Michigan and St. Louis, Missouri. The purpose was to provide you with best racing experience!

The first phase from 1953-1962 was crucial in the history of Chevy Corvette. The 1953 cars were hand built with an attractive fiberglass body. As a sports car, it was weak but still pretty. Many modifications allowed increasing the sale but there was a dramatic collapse in 1955. With the assistance of specialist European team, many radical changes were implemented in the 1956 cars. Many tests were conducted and in 1958, the Chevy Corvette cars were on the right track of success. In between 1961 and 1962, Chevy Corvette became a part of American culture and the racing car was the first choice amongst people in the United States. The second phase (1962-1967) gave the new name Corvette Sting Ray and the performance was taken to new level.

The third phase in the history of Chevy Corvette started from 1968-1983. The new style had a similar look to Chevys Mako 2 concept car and the car was exclusively designed by Larry Shinoda under the direction of Bill Mitchell. The body was modified and four-wheel disc brakes were introduced. The fourth stage (1983-1996) allowed Chevy cars to achieve complete modern looks. The new engine strength was increased to 200 hp with cross fire injection feature. A fuel injection carburetor was also added to L83 and the manual transmissions were expelled. The C4 Chevy Corvette attained a fabulous look with highest HP engine, 6-speed transmission, windows, locks, taillights, fiberglass body panels, etc.

The fifth phase (1997-2003) in history of Chevy Corvette provided the racing car with cutting edge design and improved consistency. The C4 car was changed to C5 and Corvette celebrated the 50th anniversary in 2003. Later the C5 racing car was converted to C5-R racer, which had an enlarged engine and sleek body. The C5-R achieved victory in many races including the American Le Mans Series in GTS class. The Chevy Corvette had to face tough competition from Ferrari but in the end was victorious.

The C6 racing car introduced in 2005 had a good fuel economy and improved quality. The cars kept on improving each year with few minor changes. The award winning racing car, which is officially known as ZR1, has been introduced in the North American International Auto Show and expected to be in the market as a 2009 model. The history of Chevy Corvette is never ending and it is expected to create new records in the future.
